Diary Clues Tie Suspects to Sierra Murders
Police say Leonard Lake and Charles Ng killed up to 25 people over two years. Investigators describe Lake as reticent yet assertive, living in a hidden Sierra Nevada foothills ranch with a 6 by 4 foot cell in a bunker. They found videotapes and at least five victim remains. Lake died after ingesting poison days after shoplifting arrest.
