Houston based Oil Trust declares June income distribution of $0.2787 per unit to holders of record June 15 totaling $9,032,136.63. Through June 1982, distributions amount to $41,388,380.66 or $1,2771 per unit across all units.
Los Angeles based oil analyst Dan Lundberg reports a 6.4 cent rise in gasoline prices over three weeks while retailers shrink profits. The survey of 17,000 stations shows average overall price at 1.2763 per gallon, with regular unleaded about 1.2470 and unleaded self serve 1.2190. Largest city price highs and lows are cited with Chicago topping unleaded at 1.3203 and leaded at 1.2566, while Houston and Baltimore register the lowest regional figures.
The April 16 survey reports regular gas at $1.18 to $1.21 and unleaded around $1.23 to $1.28 across East Midwest South Rocky Mountain and West regions. Lundberg cites supply demand balance and lower prior glut pricing as factors behind the increase.
