Number of active rigs falls by 11 in US oil patch
Baker Hughes reported Friday that the US rig count dropped by 11 this week to 876, with 685 drilling for natural gas and 183 for oil. Texas down seven, Colorado five, Alaska two, Arkansas one. North Dakota up two. Louisiana New Mexico each up one. Wyoming, California, Oklahoma unchanged.
