Globe of the Great Southwest preserves Shakespearean legacy
The Globe began as a postwar dream to educate oilfield and ranching families through theater. Founder Morris, now 91, built support by engaging wives with a West Literature course. Opened 1968 with Arms and the Man, the not for profit venue relies on volunteers, donations, and ticket sales for funding.
