Time urged for tracing stolen items
City Council hearing on proposed amendments to the second hand goods dealers ordinance would mostly keep current effects while giving police more time to trace thieves. Key changes: confiscate items with defaced or removed identifying marks, hold purchased goods seven days or 30 days if IDs are obscured, and require bills of sale to be filled the day of sale.

They sell adobe bricks locally and aim to grow the business by reinvesting earnings. Adobe bricks use a stabilizer to resist water while construction expands with more inquiries from Alpine residents seeking durable homes.
