Summit official foresees final contracts for clean coal plant
Summit Power Group expects to finalize contracts next week for the planned clean coal plant near Penwell. Laura Miller, Texas director, told Odessa Development Corporation board that final investor closings are targeted by Sept 30. If on schedule, the project could begin allocating about 2.5 billion dollars to meet Energy Department conditions and use roughly 450 million in granted support.
