Mammoth Lake dive lake planned in Texas sand pit project
Developers plan to fill a 50 acre Clute sand pit with buses fire trucks space shuttle mockup and an old Navy jet to create Mammoth Lake a major scuba destination. Local officials back the project saying it will boost tourism while divers collect artifacts and fish will be stocked as water fills over the next year.
