Episcopalians Identify With Diversity in Beliefs
New York AP reports a survey of 2000 Episcopal Church members finds diversity in belief nearly as strong a marker of identity as Book of Common Prayer worship. Over 95 percent say communion and liturgical worship are central. 78 percent see diverse perspectives in congregations and a similar share say Episcopalians ask questions more than they provide answers.

Cranky preacher Will Campbell stirs faith world with blunt views
The piece portraits Southern Baptist pioneer Will Campbell as a crusty, outspoken figure who challenged racism, church complacency, and political hypocrisy. It highlights his activism with Martin Luther King Jr, his barbed critiques of capital punishment and Disney boycotts, and his stubborn independence at age 74 as he presses for reform and reckons with the status quo.
