Odessa social events and meetings scheduled in June
The Odessa area hosts a series of community gatherings: Women’s Association of Odessa Country Club meets June 12 at noon for lunch and bridge. Newcomers Club Family Picnic June 14 at University of Texas of the Permian Basin with games prizes swimming and potluck. Odessa Newcomers Club starts June 9 11 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church with luncheon and card games. Meals on Wheels seeks volunteer drivers for summer routes. Permian Basin Beekeeping Association meets June 13 at Charlie Fisler’s Honey House with veils required and a field trip plus ice cream.
