Rev Andrew Nance of Carter Chapel C M E in Odessa Texas died June 5 2013 at age 78. Services set for June 12 at First Methodist Church Tohoka Texas. Survived by wife Bennie a son Todd two daughters Jackie Rhonda and mother Helen Bookhman. He led Carter Chapel 32 years and served as Elder in Northwest Texas Region Eighth Episcopal District.
Bob Allen Bratton of Odessa Texas aged 85 died Sunday June 9 2013 in Crane Texas He was born December 1 1927 in Floydada Texas to Robbie and Arthur Bratton He married Nelda Huckabee September 28 1948 He worked in the oilfield after farming and was a member of Highland United Methodist Church in Odessa He is survived by his wife two sons Allen and Barry and daughter Vicky plus grandchildren and four great grandchildren Funeral services were held at 1030 AM Tuesday June 1 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dot Lea officiating Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens Memorials may be given to Highland United Methodist Church or Star Care Hospice of Odessa Texas Sunset Funeral Home directed the arrangements.
