Howard County Judge Rules Out Jury Wheel Cost Move
Big Spring Texas Howard County Judge A G Mitchell said he will not use a jury wheel for hospital commitment hearings due to cost and will continue holding hearings at the Big Spring State Hospital. He notes moving patients to the courthouse is disruptive and may hinder treatment while county finances would require a tax hike to fund the wheel system.
