Rivers targets Tonight Show amid candidate list feud
Joan Rivers escalates a dispute with NBC after claiming ABC and CBS officials sought talks about her late night future. She alleges NBC listed 10 possible successors for Johnny Carson, including Letterman and Brenner, while NBC denies any such list exists. Begelman is jokingly named among the Davids as part of the controversy.
