Court typist jailed for slow fingers
NEW ORLEANS AP A court reporter remained in jail as of Wednesday after Judge Miriam G Waltzer ordered Donna Goff into custody until she completes a trial transcript for an appeal 15 months overdue. She is typing in jail at night and during prison hours while the 1983 manslaughter trial transcript remains unfinished.
