Odessa Benefited from Texas Legislature Session
Odessa businessman Bob Barnes says the just ended Texas legislative session was favorable for the area as an appropriations bill boosts transportation spending. The $117 billion budget allocates 5.3 billion for transportation in FY 2004, aiding MOTRAN efforts for La Entrada al Pacifico trade corridor and rail links between Odessa Midland and northern Mexico.
