Odessa man treated after shooting on East Fourth Street
A 19-year-old Odessa man, Robert Rodriguez, was treated today for a gunshot wound at Odessa Medical Center Hospital and released. Police reports say he was shot by two men around 3:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of East Fourth Street, from behind, with a small caliber weapon. He did not file charges and could only describe the assailants as black.

Monahans Woman Identified in Body Found Near I-20 Field
Marbella Martinez a 20 year old Monahans resident missing since May 28 was identified by tattoos during autopsy after a partially clothed body was found Monday. A telephone repairman located the body in a field about a quarter mile south of Interstate 20 and two miles west of Texas 464. Ward County sheriff’s officials offered no further comment.

A 77 year old Odessa man, Perry Ray of Perry Welding, was attacked and robbed at his shop around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday. He was struck with a metal pipe, robbed of four credit cards and $400, and listed in stable condition at Odessa Medical Center Hospital.
