ACLU challenges Kennesaw gun ownership ordinance
The ACLU filed a federal suit on behalf of Richard Butler to block Kennesaw Georgia from enforcing a new city rule requiring heads of households to own and maintain a firearm and ammunition. The measure, adopted March 15 by a 5,400 population city, carries a $50 fine for violations and exempts felons the disabled and those with religious objections.
