They seek International Coliseums Company to join a plan for a new Odessa event center with drawings shown for land in two spots.

Odessa Country Club opens $6.6 million clubhouse and redesigned courses
The Odessa Country Club unveiled a 37,000 square foot clubhouse off Faudree Road as part of a $10 million project that includes a new practice facility, tennis courts, pool, meeting spaces for 450, an outdoor pavilion, and a tunnel under Faudree Road linking old and new courses. About 700 guests attended the grand opening.

Odessa Country Club Growth Since 1939
The Odessa Country Club traces its growth to January 1939 when 15 men formed the club in the Chamber of Commerce. In 1938 the East Highway 80 site was purchased from Roy Parks and the golf course began. Renowned golf course architect John Bredinus was hired to design the course.

ECISD Merges Low-Performing Campuses with Career Center

AIM High School opened in 1989 to help dropouts graduate and expand access for student parents through the Teen Parent Center.
