Conservative Clash Over 30 Group Ties and Reforms
Continued from Page One, Head highlights Price's legal work for a Palestine liquor store owner while Price accuses Head of Dirty 30 connections. The Dirty 30 coalition opposed Mutscher in the legislature, pressed for investigations, and shared reform goals with Price. In runoff, Price allies tried to pin Dirty 30 on conservative opponents, linking them to marijuana legalization, gun registration, and abortion allowances. Alarmed Citizens of Austin backed three conservatives, running ads against Dirty 30-endorsed candidates over busing and sodomy-law repeal positions.
