Eight Injured In Odessa Traffic Crash Involving Eight Persons
Eight people were hurt Saturday when a car sideswiped two vehicles and hit a utility pole in the 1900 block of North Grant. Five victims were admitted to Medical Center Hospital. others treated and released. Names include Herman Weaver 42 Claude Polk 24 Robert Weaver 30 Gloria Clemens 19 Mona Leah Clemens 6 Eugene Clemens 24 Randy Clemens 16 months. Polk driven car involved in rear-end and head-on impacts. Polk’s car total loss.

Pair Injured In Accident On 27th Street
An Odessa two car crash Saturday left a housewife and her young daughter with face bruises. Mrs Allen Atkins 24 and daughter Janet were treated and released from Medical Center Hospital after aid. The collision occurred as Atkins driving west on 27th collided with a 1955 auto driven by Jack Dixon 32. Damage estimated at 30 dollars. Lucille Warren 29 was also treated after an earlier Eighth Street accident.

Thefts Reported In City Homes And School Grounds
Minnie Jackson of 409 South Hancock told officers late Saturday that a .25 caliber pistol was stolen from her home. Another victim, Mrs. Lewis Jordan of 402 East 46th, reported a bicycle stolen from Goliad Elementary School.
