UT Telescope Confirms Alien Planet Dissolving Slowly
UT Austin and Wesleyan astronomers using the Hobby Eberly Telescope at McDonald Observatory confirm a Jupiter sized planet in the nearby system HD 189733 is dissolving due to star planet interactions. The study led by Adam Jensen will appear in The Astrophysical Journal June issue. The star is about 63 light years away in Vulpecula. The report includes a net link tinyurl.com/7ixatop. County eyes return of former master electrician Tony Galindo
