Discovery launches NASA final voyage to Mir station

Discovery soars on NASA last mission to Mir carrying six crew as it docks with the Russian space station. Mir’s steering system was fixed after a shutdown earlier in the week and the shuttle carries supplies and experiments while NASA shifts focus to the international space station.
