Midland highway project to rebuild 3.2 miles on 349 begins Sunday
Price Construction of Big Spring won the $3.7 million contract for three stage work from Interstate 20 to County Road 140. Night frontage road work Sunday through Thursday will reduce lanes and affect daytime traffic with 10 mph speed limit and 10 foot width restriction. The six month project starts with intersections at 349 and I 20 then continues during the day. The Crisis Center schedules Wonder Girls Camp July 31 through August 4 at the University of Texas at the Permian Basin for girls 9 to 14 with STEM health nutrition empowerment and confidence building. Bryant Nominates Hollmann for Odessa Development Board
Odessa District 2 Councilman Dewey Bryant will nominate Melanie Hollmann an Odessa attorney who heads the ODC compliance committee since 2015 for a seat on the Odessa Development Corporation board pending council approval at the next regular meeting June 13.
