Wright tree of life door auction sets glass record
A Frank Lloyd Wright tree of life door from the Darwin D. Martin House sold at Christie's for 110000, a new high for American art glass. The sale included two more doors and two windows from the same house, with buyers not planning to donate to the Buffalo estate. Preservationists still hope some item is donated back to the house, now owned by SUNY Buffalo.
