Number of active US rigs climbs by 18 to 1818

The weekly Baker Hughes count shows U S rigs expanded by 18 to 1818 with oil rigs up to 882 and gas rigs at 936. Oklahoma rose by nine, Pennsylvania by five, Texas by three, while North Dakota West Virginia and Wyoming each added one. New Mexico fell one. Alaska Arkansas California Colorado and Louisiana held steady.
