Paintball Charity Tourney Boosts Local Kids
Joe Guerrero founder of 12 Mile Paintball Field notes about 1400 dollars raised this year for charity. Last year the event supported Children’s Miracle Network with about 1600 dollars. Door prizes from local retailers included a TV and DVD player. Guerrero says the sport offers a rush and a pro alternative activity to keep kids off drugs. Body Found In Ector County Investigated By Sheriff
Ector County Sheriff deputies responded to a 9 1 1 call and found a 40 year old man dead in the 8600 block of the Street on Saturday. Family member Gary Duesler said the man appeared to have died. The body was sent to Lubbock for autopsy.
