Traffic woes rise with Odessa area boom and fatal crash

Two Die In Midland Fatal Accidents

Within 12 hours, two men died near Loop 250 in Midland. Mark Anthony Varela 20 died in an early Saturday crash when his vehicle left the overpass area and was struck by a 2008 Ford F-150 driven by Sammy Rocha and occupied by Sammy Rocha Jr. Joshua Arias 22 died Friday when his 2003 Dodge 2500 left Loop 250 and hit a tree and parked cars in the DPS lot. Phyliss Wetmore 44 was injured.
