Voters rush to the polls as the last day for early voting arrives in the joint primary runoff. As of Thursday 105 Democrats and 1,643 Republicans have cast ballots. Election day is Tuesday with five locations listed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Ector County facilities and Odessa College. A 50 year old Midland man with mild mental retardation was awarded more than $6 million by a Midland jury after his left arm was severed by a paper baler at Butts Recycling on Nov 22 2008. Hartlove’s attorneys Kevin Glasheen and Jason Medina said the Permian Basin MHMR Center is 50 percent liable. Butts Recycling holds the other half of the $6 129 083.19 judgment.
