Lifeboats and salvation in Midland art exhibit
Midland’s Museum of the Southwest hosts Lifeboats by Cristi Branum and others, a life and spirituality themed show. Curator Thomas Jones notes craft fits fine in art, with Branum using oil on wet plaster to create fresco-like pieces featuring lifeboats, seas, and symbolic salvific messages.
