Groups challenge Fox News slogan Fair and Balanced
Liberal MoveOn.org and Common Cause file a petition with the FTC alleging Fox News uses Fair and Balanced to mislead consumers and promote the Republican right. The groups seek a cease and desist while Fox cites free speech. The FTC may take months to decide on merit and observers note subjectivity of the claim.
