Pfeifer’s Life of Service Shapes San Angelo Diocese
Pfeifer, a longtime bishop in the San Angelo Diocese, reflects on his path from missionary work with the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in 1968 to leading the diocese while engaging with Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict. He recalls his humble ordination moment, daily rigorous schedule, deep dedication to parishioners, and plans to continue ministry after retirement.
