Odessa Internet outage not felt by city or ECISD
Security measures helped Odessa and ECISD avoid disruption during the DNS Changer outage. City IT chief Leisha Meine-Bailey said separate DNS providers kept services running with no reported problems. ECISD officials reported most campuses finished summer classes and systems remained secure. Meanwhile at Trinity University, a professor and student uncovered a 1700 year old mosaic floor in a Jewish village near the Sea of Galilee, including Samson in a biblical scene and Aramaic inscriptions.
