Ector County ISD Board OKs changes to student code
The Ector County Independent School District board approved revisions to the 2000-2001 student code of conduct and student handbook at a special meeting. The changes extend disciplinary authority for lunch misconduct, grant dress code authority to the Alternative Education Center principal, require hearings before action, and tighten rules on replacement programs and fighting. The board also appointed R. Scott Lewis as Permian's new baseball coach and Curtis Britt as Career Center director.

UT Permian Basin grad channels youth rage in one man show

Houston faces epidemic risk with low child immunization rate

Former Odessan named to eligible bachelor lists

Midland airport hosts full-scale disaster drill
