Fandango festival shifts venue for Odessa Downtown event
Vendors offered snacks as hundreds of youths enjoyed enclosed Knockerball play at the Ector County Courthouse area. Organizers expect more than 4,000 attendees, with a $50,000 budget and pre sale tickets rising from 10 to over 200. Proceeds aid Odessa Downtown Inc. in downtown development efforts. The new Grant Avenue site aims for family friendly programming amid plans for a downtown hotel and conference center. Attendees praised the move while some questioned the festival’s size.
