Community honors Sal Guerrero at senior center event
Veterans and seniors gathered to celebrate Sal Guerrero’s life while discussions linger over a December court decision to rename the center in his honor. Black and Hispanic chambers joined with veterans and residents to reflect on Guerrero’s inclusive leadership amid ongoing controversy from a January meeting. Friday would have marked Guerrero’s 92nd birthday.
