Fuel tests continue on shuttle system at Cape Canaveral

At Cape Canaveral NASA workers completed half of a hydrogen tank test for the space shuttle Columbia and prepared to load liquid oxygen as a precursor to the main engine firing set for February 10. A Delta rocket at Kennedy Space Center was damaged by a gantry, denting the collar between stages and bending fuel lines, potentially delaying a March weather-satellite launch.
