Mexican soldier arrested near Nogales in remote border area
A Mexican soldier strayed onto the U S side about seven miles west of Nogales in a remote area. He was armed and crossed more than a mile before being encountered by Border Patrol. After talks between the U S and Mexican governments he was allowed to return home. The Mexican consul in Nogales said the solider got lost while patrolling on foot.
