Odessa man charged with murder in domestic shooting
Joe Albert Ramon 41 of Odessa was charged with first degree murder and attempted capital murder after fatally shooting his estranged wife Estella Cadena Ramon and wounding police officer Cpl. Greg Travland during a Friday incident at Drug Screen Compliance & Consortium in downtown Odessa. Ramon remained in critical condition at Medical Center Hospital. Police collected up to 20 witness statements and continued evidence review.
