Commissioners approve environmental move in Ector County
In a unanimous vote the Ector County Commissioners move the Environmental Enforcement officers from the County Attorney's Office to the annex at 1010 E Eight St. at an estimated cost of about 6000 drawn from the building maintenance fund to build two glass encased offices in the tax assessor's office for enhanced security and easier status updates. The sheriff's peace officer presence is noted as a security benefit amid open carry law questions.
