US studies Taliban al Qaida intelligence for new threats
Defense Secretary Rumsfeld said the United States is closely studying intelligence from Afghanistan based bases and prisoners to identify plans that could avert attacks potentially deadlier than Sept. 11. He noted capturing or killing Osama bin Laden remains a priority but stopping ongoing plots is equally vital.

Federal regulators closed Hamilton Bank of Miami with about 1.3 billion dollars in assets and 1.2 billion in deposits citing inadequate capital poor earnings and high bad loans.
