Midland man sentenced in crack cocaine case
Bradley Todd Davis 25 was sentenced in federal court to 10 years for possessing more than 50 grams of crack with intent to distribute. He also pleaded guilty to distributing more than five grams near a school zone on Aug. 25, 2009. Police stopped him at Studio 6 motel during a narcotics investigation. two grams were found in the vehicle and 198 grams in the motel room. Davis faces supervised release after sentencing.

Court: Texas AG can't block granted gay divorce
An appeals court ruled that the Texas attorney general cannot block a divorce granted to Angelique Naylor and Sabina Daly.
