Ector County plans extend services with airport train terminal and road projects
The Commissioners Court outlines 1999 plans including a new extended runway at the county airport funded by an FAA grant, a possible Amtrak passenger terminal at Republic Supply building on First Street, and road work from Dawn Avenue to I 20 Moss exchange. Odessa will build a new fire station, while efforts to share resources and form a County Industrial Commission are proposed.
