A 32 year old Black woman, Mrs. Eric Roy, suffered neck injuries and witnessed her husband Lonnie Roy, 35, shot dead with a .38 snub nosed public safety item on East Murphy Street. Police reported Roy burst into Apartment 26 at Village Apartments after a dispute and fired at his wife, who was treated at Medical Center Hospital. The couple’s children and relatives were present. Roy’s body was removed to Boyd-Head Funeral Home with services pending.
