Funeral services for 36 year old Melvin Thomas Fleming of Midland were set for 3 p.m. at Fundamental Baptist Church in Sweetwater with burial in Sweetwater Cemetery. Fleming, a Hedley native who moved to Midland from Sweetwater ten years ago, died Monday after a sudden illness. He married Irene Horton of Odessa on February 1, 1950. He is survived by his wife, two sons, his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
