Gunshot Victim Bungard Rites Set for Wednesday
Funeral services for John Wesley Bungard, 34, of 2010 West Eighth, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sherwood Church of Christ with Kenneth Arrington presiding. Burial in Odessa Cemetery. Bungard was found shot at his home Sunday. His wife's elderly aunt, Mrs John Kelly, 17, of 2012 West Eighth, died moments after learning of the tragedy. Local services were held at 9 a.m. today in Parkview Church of Christ. A second service was set for 4:30 p.m. today in Childress with burial in Childress. Hubbard Funeral Home of Odessa is in charge of local arrangements for both services.
