Jury Selected In Damage Suit In Odessa
A jury was chosen in 70th District Court to hear a $48,000 damage suit filed by Gerald Conner of Odessa. Betty Conner alleges injuries from a June 28, 1967 collision at Seventh and Tom Green, involving Joseph A. Herrington and Wright Rental Tools Inc. A gunman robbed a 7 11 at 1912 North Big Spring late Tuesday taking about $75. James G. Autrey, 21, of Amarillo, was arrested near Clark and Wall and jailed in lieu of 10,000 bond. He had 135 in cash and an Amarillo newspaper linked to the case. Major Wayne Gideon said detectives would check with Amarillo authorities.

He served in the U S Navy and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
