Grass fire burns across Double Tree Ranch in Odessa area
A grass fire at the Double Tree Ranch near 6504 SFM 3503 spread for over four hours with four Odessa Department engines and three water tankers on scene by 5 p.m. and more units joining from West Odessa Mid Nelson and South Ector volunteer fire departments. Firefighters battled wind driven flames until about 10 p.m. Ranch manager Richard Bruner said the blaze began on the property.
