Boot Scoot Boogie Fundraiser Aims to Help Uganda Medical Needs

Mercy Trips hosts the Boot Scoot Boogie Bash at the MCM Grande Hotel FunDome from 7:30 pm to 1 am on Friday with an entrance fee of 40 for charity. Funds target $25,000 for medicines and medical supplies to Uganda, to be used on the team’s next trip at the end of January. Local performers Jerry Dugan and West Wind play. a dinner and champagne toast are offered. Betsy Daniel notes donations fund gloves and operating room supplies for 300 to 700 daily patients. Dr Craig Daniel recounts Uganda’s needs and Kanginima Hospital’s progress from 20 to 30 beds since last year.
