Carestar 2 from Fort Stockton was chosen to represent Bell Helicopter and Med-Trans at the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth. The helicopter will be parked at Fort Worth Meacham Airport today and on display with other military aircraft at Amon G. Carter Stadium starting Wednesday. Ector County commissioners opened bids Monday for exterior restorations to the 122 year old White Pool House museum. Estimated at about 40000 dollars, the work aims to preserve brickwork and enable interior restorations later. As a State Archeological Landmark, all restorations must win approval from the Texas Historical Commission archeologists. The 4 0 vote reflected Chairman Susan Redford voting due to Commissioner Greg Simmons absence.

Her Victorian home and apricot toy poodle reflect her style, while back in a service area she disassembles throttle valves, cleans them, and repaints them robin's egg blue. She started the service shop 34 years ago for security, and the business continues to fund her decorative ventures.
