Odessa mourns many inroad and rail deaths across year
The Odessa community records numerous fatalities from traffic crashes on I 20 and roads around the city. Names include Guadalupe Robles Jr Miguel Mendoza and Rodolfo Lopez killed March 11 in a pickup tractor collision at South West County Road and I 20 north service road. Other deaths span April through August including Anthony Piervincenti Jr Julie Dawn Goodman Ryan White James Cucovatz Angela Martinez Krystal Martinez and Sammy Levario plus several train related fatalities. Also noted are military casualty Cpl Daniel Amaya and prominent locals Rudy Juedeman Judge Paul McCollum Phil Fouche Sr and Judge Gary Watkins.
