Minnesotan minister gains fame on Norwegian TV show
Grant Aaseng of Alexandria Minnesota rose to prominence as a contestant on The Great Norway Adventure. Norwegian airport staff and fans recognized him in Oslo, and producers plan Round Two with a new casting push seeking American Norse-descended contenders who have never traveled to Norway. The show features fish out of water games for cash, with a noteworthy episode depicting russefelring college rites and Aaseng facing uncomfortable prompts including a same sex kiss request.
